Planting Roots in Our Communities: 200 Native Saplings Given Homes
Published August 2026·Green Chapter Lead

Local neighborhood youth stepped up in large numbers to plant and adopt native saplings, committing to their watering and upkeep.
A tree planted is a promise kept to the future. Our recent plantation drive brought together over thirty youth volunteers who dug pits, enriched the soil with organic compost, and firmly planted native saplings.
What sets VRT Foundation's approach apart is the tree adoption pledge: each volunteer tags their tree and ensures regular watering during the first crucial year of growth.
As urban concrete expands, preserving native green micro-habitats is an urgent calling. We thank every volunteer whose hands planted hope in the soil.
