Behind the Plates: How Regular Meal Drives Transform Weekends
A field report from the latest food distribution drive, highlighting the smiles and community bonding that nutrition brings.

Early on Sunday morning, the VRT Foundation volunteer circle gathers to organize fresh, steaming food packages. The team focuses on consistency: serving nutritious, hot meals with dignity and heartfelt respect.

For many daily wage workers and elderly persons who struggle with daily sustenance, receiving a warm meal and a warm greeting creates a renewed sense of security and belonging in the city.

"When you give food with care, you are not just filling a plate; you are affirming someone's dignity," shared our field operations lead. We invite everyone in the community to join as weekend meal volunteers.
